What is Auricular Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medicine that uses the insertion of needles into specific points in the body to clear the channels (or meridians) running through the body thereby allowing the qi (or energy) to flow freely. The channels become blocked over time by the toxins that we take in, as well as from the general stresses and strains of everyday life. This causes a build up of toxins which affect the way our body and mind works.
Auricular acupuncture is the insertion of 5 small sterile needles into points
in the ears. These points connect up with the major organs as well as
3 mental points.
Clients describe acupuncture as a unique kind of balancing experience. Often saying they feel “relaxed yet alert”. Those who are depressed or tired say they feel more energetic. This relaxed & alert state is basic to the concept of health in all Asian culture. (Yuan TMC ear acupuncture & natural health care detoxification programme).
